2015 will be the Defend Freedom Tour’s 4th journey across the country. The Defend Freedom Tour is a motivational series of events held nationally by Concerned Veterans for America (CVA). CVA’s is a non-profit organization who’s focus is to protect and advocate for policies that support the freedoms and liberties that are available to American Citizens and defended by our active duty military, veterans, and their families.
This year’s tour will kick off in New York City on April 17th in partnership with Fox and Friends. Their events across the country will feature renowned musical guests, such as America’s most patriotic rock band, Madison Rising, Ayla Brown, and guest speakers.
Top Shelf Design worked with Concerned Veterans of America to design and build their website, and now the site for the 2015 Defend Freedom Tour. For this year’s tour site, our goal was to create an aesthetic that is bold, and clean-cut, representative of the U.S. Military. The patriotic color scheme and the bold typographic treatments emphasize strength. Though CVA and the Defend Freedom Tour are separate, we united the two brands with subtle design elements, like the repetition of the stars in the background. The large, full-width image slider gives visitors to the site an immediate impression of what the tour experience is like.
