John Shumate, a local photographer, came to us for a new logo for his new career. His focus is architectural photography and he was looking for a clean, artistic but not too playful logo that conveys his personal style. We came up with a logo using a symbol for his initials, reminiscent of Richard Serra’s dramatic sculpture titled “Tilted Arc”. The colors are subdued and elegant, and we included an all black version that lays over photos quite nicely.
