Reports Print & Digital Pairings
annual reports, one-pagers, websites
TSD offers cost-effective and sustainable print and digital report pairings, providing a dynamic approach to communication. Digital versions enhance the user experience with seamless navigation and multimedia elements, while print versions emphasize key highlights. This strategy maximizes engagement and extends reach, offering complementary storytelling for a more impactful and comprehensive narrative.
Designed with Sustainability in Mind
Pairing printed reports with digital versions offers a significant opportunity to reduce printing costs and minimize environmental impact. By shifting content like donor lists and extended stories to the digital format, organizations can reduce the size and quantity of printed materials. This approach aligns with sustainability goals and allows for budget optimization.
Enhanced User Experience
Digital reports deliver an enhanced end user experience with features like intuitive navigation, hyperlinks, and search functionality. These elements allow readers to quickly locate specific information and easily explore related content in greater depth, improving accessibility, readability, and engagement.
Multilingual Reports
The digital format allows for expanded content that may not be feasible or cost-effective to include in a printed report. This includes the ability to create multilingual reports, enabling clients to reach a broader, more diverse audience. With the flexibility to offer reports in multiple languages, organizations can enhance accessibility and engagement, ensuring key messages are effectively communicated across different communities. Additionally, the digital format supports multimedia elements such as videos, interactive maps, and downloadable resources, further enriching the user experience.
Dynamic Updates and Accessibility
Unlike printed reports, digital versions can be easily updated with new information or corrections. This ensures that the content remains current and relevant. Additionally, digital reports can be made more accessible to users with disabilities through features like screen readers and alternative text for images.
Increased Engagement and Reach
Digital reports can be shared easily online and through social media, expanding their reach and potential impact. The inclusion of interactive elements and multimedia content can further boost engagement and encourage readers to spend more time interacting with the information.
Complementary Storytelling
Printed and digital reports can work together to tell a more comprehensive story. The printed version can focus on key highlights and visual impact, while the digital version provides deeper insights, data exploration, and additional context. This multi-faceted approach caters to different reader preferences and levels of engagement.
NPCA
For the National Parks Conservation Association’s (NPCA) printed annual report, we were tasked with reducing the number of printed pages compared to the previous year’s report. In the past, NPCA contracted us to design both their annual report and a separate printed booklet featuring extensive lists of donors and leadership. This approach became costly for the nonprofit organization, not to mention the additional environmental resources used for the large number of copies and pages required in both booklets.
We introduced the strategy of creating a matching website to complement their printed annual report. However, the website would feature even more content, including the long lists of donors, national leadership, and additional park stories. These digital benefits provided easy access for last-minute name changes, streamlined navigation for readers to find what they were looking for, and offered a great opportunity to encourage visitors to spend more time on NPCA’s website and social media via hyperlinked call-to-action elements.
As a result, our client was able to save a significant portion of their project budget by reducing printed materials, while also increasing user engagement on the website, where readers are more likely to be successfully converted into donors.

Carlos Rosario
TSD designed the annual report for Carlos Rosario, a school dedicated to teaching, training, and supporting adult immigrants. The website expertly encapsulates the span of a year, offering a visual narrative of growth through meticulously crafted icons, insightful infographics, and data-rich charts. From illuminating their comprehensive career training initiatives to highlighting their profound community influence, the report’s organization and visuals narrate a compelling story. The website gives visitors the opportunity to learn about the school’s mission and discover insights from the school year.

MWCOG
For this specific client, TSD designed and executed the Visualize2045 website, which acts as a microsite to the main Metropolitan Washington Council of Government’s (MWCOG) website, focusing on the Visualize2045 initiative. In addition, TSD delivered top-notch report design and digital pairing, achieved through collaborative teamwork with MWCOG. This effort included a selection of visual reports that were aligned with the pre-established Visualize2045 brand.

NALCAB
TSD partnered with The National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB) to create a comprehensive report strategy that included both digital and print components. TSD designed a website featuring the full report copy, stories, and videos, allowing for enhanced user engagement and easy navigation. In addition to the website, TSD also created a companion one-pager that NALCAB could print and share themselves. This print piece allowed for a focused, tangible takeaway while the digital version provided in-depth information and multimedia content.
