Lutheran College Washington Semester is an internship program owned and operated by thirteen private Lutheran institutions of higher education. They provide their students with quality internship opportunities, as well as condominium style housing while they gain real world experience working in the D.C. area.
LCWS came to Top Shelf Design looking for a sleek new magazine-style brochure that would catch the attention of any college student and get them EXCITED about the opportunity to gain professional experience while living and working in the nation’s capital. The large photos throughout the brochure are unique to the D.C. area and LCWS – they bring the “magazine spread” feel to the brochure, while highlighting LCWS’ fun yet professional personality at the same time. While a clean and modern feel was very important to LCWS, it was also important that they represented some of their more traditional roots – their new brochure is a reflection of just that.
